A Healthy Lifestyle Begins… in Your Bed! Sleep Stories Feature

For most of us, it’s obvious that if we want to live a healthier life, we need to change our diet, increase physical activity, consider taking some special supplements. What if we tell you that maybe it’s better to start from something that takes up to 1/3 of your life…?! A healthy lifestyle is not just vitamins, minerals and strong muscles. It’s also good quality sleep. And that’s why we introduced a new feature in Diet & Training by Ann app: sleep stories.

Sleep problems

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 70 million Americans suffer from sleep problems. A Polish report from 2021 made by UCE RESEARCH indicated difficulties related to falling asleep, waking up during the night or waking up too early in almost 40% of Poles. These statistics look disturbing. We know that deprivation and low quality of sleep have been linked to many metabolic diseases, including obesity and type 2 diabetes.

The fast pace of life, excess responsibilities and stimuli sometimes make it really difficult to fall asleep despite physical fatigue. So, can we do something to make falling asleep a little bit easier? Our answer is: yes,we can, check out our sleep stories.

Sleep stories feature

When we were children, bedtime stories were perfectly normal. Our minds could drift away and follow the fairy tale heroes. Later, we forgot about them, and their place was taken by books: crime stories, adventure novels, and romances. These are often great and engaging reads, but – let’s be honest – they don’t make us sleepy. And if they do, we go for another book.

What if we told you that there are interesting bedtime stories for adults that you can listen to right before bedtime? And forget about your worries? We saw a profound need for this kind of relaxation and created a tool to help users unwind and get a peaceful night’s sleep. That’s why we’ve made inspiring stories, full of positive experiences and sounds that will carry you away to another world. The task may seem easy but it is just the opposite . The story must be interesting and inviting, but at the same time devoid of exciting moments that would stimulate you.

The way to easy sleep

Are sleep stories a cure for insomnia? No, they aren’t, but if you happen to have trouble falling asleep, why not try it? This is yet another tool you can use to make your evening enjoyable and fall asleep peacefully.

And if you tried one of our stories and don’t know how it ended because you fell asleep – that’s just fine. That’s what it’s all about!
