Ingredients, quantities, preparation – do we need something more in a healthy meal plan? For us, the answer is obvious: yes, we do! We always follow the needs of our users. One of them was to make the diet more attractive and even easier. We’ve achieved this by introducing engaging videos and photos of the dishes which you can already see in our apps.


We Eat with Our Eyes

We’re convinced that almost everyone agrees we eat not only with our mouth, but also with our eyes. There are even studies which prove that the appearance of the dish can increase hunger! 

In one study published in Health Psychology, scientists reported an increase in ghrelin levels (hunger hormone) in participants who looked at a package of dessert shake. When they looked at deceptive packaging of the same product, but much less attractive, this effect did not occur. The conclusions indicated that the effect of food consumption on ghrelin may be psychologically mediated.

 

Diet Is Not a Sacrifice

Many people still believe a healthy diet (especially weight-loss diet) is based on sacrifices. Our mission is to show we can eat healthy, tasty and attractive dishes, no matter what our goal is – whether to reduce or gain weight, or simply to take care of our daily nutrition.

That’s why in our plans you can find videos and photos. Sometimes you may be demotivated and have a sense that the recipe is too complicated, but then you can click the play button and see how quickly you can make a healthy meal! At other times, you may need inspiration on how to serve the dish. In this case, our photos will answer most questions.
